These murals were done to help beautify the area around the Go-Getters Drop-In Center at 2640 West Vernor. It's right before you get to the old train station off Michigan and West Vernor. It's the wall that wraps around the corner of the street. There are some great artists out there, as evident by these examples of wall art and/or tags.
I noticed this piece of 'art' when I was in the renovated part of the Dequindre Cut. Obviously it's a stencil...but it's sort of Banksy-esque in it's style. It would probably have more color in it (I would think red) if it really was a Banksy. I think it's really just someone doing something new. I haven't seen it anywhere else around town, have you?
